1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PromptFrom ("the Service"), operated by PromptFrom ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, whether through our website at promptfrom.com, our API, or any other means we provide.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or through a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

PromptFrom is an image-to-prompt generation platform that uses artificial intelligence to analyze uploaded images and produce text prompts formatted for various AI image and video generation models, including but not limited to Midjourney, DALL-E 3, Stable Diffusion, Flux, Runway Gen-3, and Kling AI.

The Service is provided in multiple tiers:

  • Free Tier: 5 image analyses per day, supporting 3 AI models (Midjourney, DALL-E 3, Stable Diffusion), with a maximum file size of 2MB. No account registration is required.
  • Pro Tier ($9/month): 300 image analyses per day, all 6 AI models, prompt history and search, batch upload capability (up to 10 images), export functionality, ad-free experience, and priority processing.
  • Business Tier ($29/month): Unlimited image analyses, all 6 AI models, REST API access, up to 5 team member seats, webhook notifications, API call logs and analytics, and priority support.

3. User Accounts

Certain features of the Service require you to create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may create an account using your email address and a password, or by authenticating through Google OAuth. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Upload images that contain illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate images, or content that violates applicable laws
  • Upload images that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others without authorization
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service except through our official API
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or other restrictions
  • Use the Service to generate prompts intended to produce harmful, abusive, or illegal content
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all images you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading images, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, temporary license to process your images solely for the purpose of providing the Service -- specifically, to analyze the image and generate text prompts.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We do not use Your Content to train AI models. Uploaded images are processed in real-time and are not stored beyond the time necessary to complete the analysis, except as thumbnail references for your prompt history (Pro and Business tiers).

5.2 Generated Prompts

The text prompts generated by the Service ("Output") are provided to you for your use. You may use, modify, and distribute the Output for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. We do not claim ownership of the Output generated for you.

5.3 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property, is owned by PromptFrom and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.

6. API Usage

If you access the Service through our REST API (available on the Business tier), the following additional terms apply:

  • Your API key is confidential and must not be shared or exposed in client-side code
  • You are responsible for all API calls made using your API key
  • API access is subject to rate limits and fair use policies
  • We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access if we detect abusive usage patterns
  • You may not use the API to build a competing service that replicates the core functionality of PromptFrom

7. Payment and Billing

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Business tiers) are billed monthly through our payment processor, LemonSqueezy. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

  • Pay the applicable subscription fee on a recurring monthly basis
  • Provide accurate and complete billing information
  • Authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the LemonSqueezy customer portal. Upon cancellation, your paid features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the Free tier.

Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you are not satisfied with the Service within 14 days of your first payment, contact us at support@promptfrom.com for a full refund. Beyond this period, refunds are provided at our sole discretion.

Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle following the notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate, reliable, or suitable for any particular purpose
  • The generated prompts will produce specific or desired results when used with third-party AI generation tools
  • Any defects in the Service will be corrected

The quality and accuracy of generated prompts depend on the input image quality, the capabilities of our AI analysis, and the behavior of third-party AI generation tools, which are beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PROMPTFROM, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PromptFrom and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights
  • Any content you upload to the Service

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and associated data
  • Any outstanding payment obligations will remain due

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@promptfrom.com. If you have a paid subscription, please cancel it through LemonSqueezy before requesting account deletion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PromptFrom operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PromptFrom regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
